A very strong shampoo like Denorex Medicated or Nizoral usually brings this under control in a few days. Regular use of a shampoo like Selsun Blue or Head and Shoulders keeps it from returning. Its a good idea to buy one of the strong shampoos to use only when things are out of control and one of the milder shampoos to use on a regular basis to keep problems from returning.
