Kids and Credit cards?

I am a teller and i let a kid use a credit card.. I know kids can get credit cards if there parents co-sing for them. (you know so thy can understand how the system works. (Parents put cash it, once its used up the credit card is declined. (The company i work for has never spoken about these cards.) Thy look and work just like there parents cards. Thy signed with the computer pen printed out there receipt.(compare signatures(how i have noting to compare it with:) I even asked for ID and it was his schools ID.(There name was imprinted on the card and it was singed in the back ect just like any other card (thy paid and left.) Though after thinking. I now feel like iam going to lose my job. (I have read your not even suppose to ask for id when it comes to credit cards. There is a deal between retail and the credit card company's (cause all transactions will be paided for by the credit company.. There for iam lost and . well what should i do and look forward going back to work. I have been to work once already and nothing was said. Will this take awhile for a retailer to find out.. Will i have to wait to get fired. Its driving me nuts. ( i am thinking i would of been talked to the next day at least. but nothing.
