Why does the media portray Mexicans so terribly?

I can tell you from first hand experience it's not the media really but, the Mexicans themselves. Across the street from me are two homes in which Mexicans live. They are without a doubt the worst bunch of neighbors I have ever seen. Each home have about 12 people living there, one with a live chicken. They hang outside in the alley and blast their music, drink beer, and urinate in the alley. I have had them throw their trash in my trash cans, beer cans are laying on the sidewalk near parked cars. I could go on.
