Do you find the sappy sound of an ambulance siren to be insufferable?

I don't mind a siren on a police car. I feel police sirens are legit. But there is something about ambulance and fire engine sirens that drive me up a wall. I think it's because I tend to think most of their calls are bogus and non emergency. They pollute the peace and quiet with their all-too-frequent wailing. Do you agree?
